Ontario Orchards is known for our fresh baked goods. Our pies, muffins, cookies, and breads are baked fresh daily. Several of our pies are made with apples and fruits from our farm in Sterling. Our cider donuts are made from scratch Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only and are a real treat when they are still warm from the fryer! Don’t forget to pick some of our Half Moon cookies while you are visiting. Our Chocolate Half Moons are a customer favorite and were voted “Best Half Moon” in a local contest!

We carry a large selection of suets, specialty seeds, and feeders to attract an abundance of birds to your yard. Our local favorites are 20 and 40 pound bags of Black Oil Sunflower Seeds and Ontario Orchards blend of Wild Bird Food. We also carry a great selection of premium dog and cat foods and your furry friends treats.
We have a great selection of wine making and brewing supplies for the home brewer. We offer California and New York wine juices during the harvest and RJS wine kits for craft winemakers looking for a variety of styles from light crisp whites to full-bodied reds. We also have some great home brew beer kits from IPAs and Stouts to more traditional tastes. Basically, everything you need from brew to bottle to make a wine or craft beer you can proudly share with friends and family. We will also special order both wine and brew kits if you are looking for something that we don’t have in the store. The award winning kits are a great way to start if you want to dip your toes in the water and you can even make your own custom labels for gifts or special events! Ontario Orchards is one of Central New York’s largest and most complete farm markets located on State Route 104, near the shore of Lake Ontario. We have 28 varieties of apples and a great selection of locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have private label jams, jellies, pickles and sauces along with many local favorites. In addition we have gift baskets made to order, fresh coffee and pastries from our bakery, candies and soups, something for everyone. The market is open year round! We are closed on Christmas day.
The Ontario Orchards Fall Jamboree is a festival that celebrates the change of the seasons with food, fun and entertainment for the entire family! We started this event over 24 years ago to share a bit of the farm life with our community and celebrate the harvest. The Fall Jamboree always takes place the third weekend in September. We offer free parking and admission with handicapped accessible parking near the field. The event takes place rain or shine 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are loads of activities for the kids, some free and some with fees. You can walk through the corn maze, pick your own apples and pumpkins, make and take scarecrows, and decorate pumpkins. Great food and free entertainment from local bands throughout the weekend. There are wagon rides, pony rides and bouncy houses, wine slushies, and don’t forget apple pie and fritters! G & G Animals joins us each year with exotic animals and educational demos where children can meet the animals up close! We have a great variety of arts & crafts from local vendors for a unique shopping experience! Join us for a weekend of family fun!
Book a stay at the orchard! Our farm is approximately 300 acres and is located in Sterling, New York along the shores of Lake Ontario. The majority of the property is taking up by 19 varieties of apples. Along with apples we also grow blueberries, plums, raspberries, tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, beans, peas, pumpkins, winter squash, and of course, Christmas trees! What we don’t grow on the farm we source from local farmers in Oswego, Cayuga and Onondaga counties. Upon harvest, our apples are stored in one of the largest controlled atmosphere coolers in NY to maintain that “just picked” crisp flavor.
The farm in Sterling is also a Harvest Host Location where RV campers can enjoy quiet nights in our orchard and are only minutes away from the village of Fair Haven and the city of Oswego.
Ontario Orchards is one of the largest Nurseries in Oswego County with a selection of fruit trees, ornamental and shade trees, flowering shrubs and evergreens. Our greenhouses offer a wide selection of perennials and annuals during the growing season. All of our nursery and perennial stock are grown for our zone. Our knowledgeable staff will take the time to help you choose plants and answer all of your questions. We have landscape design available to help you transform your yard and garden into something that is not only beautiful but sustainable!
